My 3X great grandmother Sophia Toudup was born in Romford in 1800 and her brother James died as an infant in Chigwell in 1799. Their father Thomas was a carpenter. Thomas married Elizabeth Young in London in 1795 and Sophia next appeared in Aldgate in 1823 when she married James Barker. Any occurrences of Toudup (variants are only limited by imagination; Sophia appeared in the Romford parish church baptism records under Foudup!) would be greatly appreciated thanks Hellen
