HI I'm looking for James Taylor born 1806 Parents Robert and Elizabeth. He was born in Penninghame.
Grace Muir born approx. 1815 in Stoneykirk .ParentsRoss and Margaret.

hi ve, tried a search for your james and grace but cannot find them...what i did find was....

1841 census killeymore moor, penninghame (the taylor family)

robert...age 65...ag lab...born ireland
thomas...age 45
john...age 35
agnes...age 25
james gibson...age 32...tailor
robert gibson...age 6 months

all born wigtownshire unless stated otherwise

1841 census; killeymore moor, penninghame (the Mure family

ross...age 55...farmer...born ireland
gerrey (female!) age 25 (could this be your grace?)...born scotland
william nish...age 10...born wigtownshire

         Many thanks for your look-up Ross is definitely mine,will have to sort the others, haven't managed to find anymore myself it's difficult when there is no indication of where in Ireland they came from. Ve
