Use a search engine like Google which is at:
http://www.google.com/
and search for:
Connemara

You will be overwhelmed with hits.

Another good place for genealogists to start searching for places (and everything else) in the UK and Ireland is Genuki at:

Flaherty's from Galway/Connemera

 Huh looking for Roger Flaherty and family who came from Galway to Maryland in the 1700's.  I find Roger in Anne Arundel Co., MD census in 1790 but find no notation of family.  Anyone have any ideas where to start searching for Roger and his family in Galway?
