Hi sorry i am am one of those blonde's who just cant upload my web page. i am using legacy and i have my free web page of you guys, all  i need to do now is how upload can you please explain how.
i have tried using coffee  ftp.but seem to be having problem or no luck.
please help one frustrated  women.

Hi Wendi,

I don't use CoffeCup but the principle is the same for all FTP programs.

How far have you got ?  Have you entered your connection details and can access your site ??

Hi Bob, all i have done is receive my free web page and i looked at other problems and found i needed a ftp program.
i created a web page in legacy and looked at it but lost the plot on what to do next.i am blond  bimbo so please be gentle

To upload to your website, you probably need to set up an FTP conection in CoffeeCup first.

Probably there is a button soewhere saying "new account" but, as I said, Idon't know C-C.

Here is an extract from something Trystan wrote on another thread:

The 'host' and the 'account' or 'username' is the same, and they both include the ".rootschat.net" bit at the end of them.

So, if your webspace name was 'counter' for example, then you would use:


host:          counter.rootschat.net
user:          counter.rootschat.net
password:    whatever-your-password-is

I magine a CoffeeCup user will pop in here before long, and help out

I use Coffe Cup ftp. 

ADD a new server.

In setting up the connection the Host Name and the User Name are the same   xxx.rootschat.net

Enter your password if you would like to have it save automatically; I like this option.

Initial Local Folder --
 browse to the location of files you want to upload on your computer. 

Lets me know where you get stuck.
