Noquet family
« on: Tuesday 03 August 04 20:51 UTC (UK) »

Is anyone else researching the Noquet family, who came to England from Normandy in the late 17th century?  My 8 x great grandfather was Abraham Noquet.  His wife was Anne Marguerite Poulain.  I'm descended through their great-grandaughter Elizabeth Noquet, who married Benjamin Dodge, Master silkweaver and dyer, and who later changed his name to that of her family for business reasons, thus confusing many descendants!

If anyone else is researching the Noquet name, let me know as I have lots of info and lots of other contacts.

regards
