Wells or Walls and Robson Lochmaben area

I've hit a brick wall with my research around 1765 with William Wells/Walls (tailor) married to Helen Robson about 1765.  I have the father of Helen Robson as Willam Robson and would like more detail on this line and any info on said William Wells/Walls.
Hopefullysomeone else may have come across these ancestors
