Marriage Details Look-Up Request - Shelton, Beds

I'm try to find the marriage details of a John Killingworth (from Irthlingborough, Northants) and Mary (from Shelton, Beds).  I couldn't find anything in Irthlingborough, so I'm supposing that the marriage took place in Shelton.  The eldest child (I think) was born Q1 1845, so I'm hoping the marriage would be around that time.  I don't have a maiden name for Mary yet - so could be difficult.  I know that she was born around 1819. 

If anyone could help, it would be much appreciated!

Have you checked FreeBMD? - http://freebmd.rootsweb.com/cgi/search.pl

There's a marriage in St Neots registration district which I believe included Shelton, in the December quarter 1842, where his spouse may have been Mary Goddard. But you would need to order the marriage certificate to confirm the details.

Alternatively you can view the microfilm of Shelton parish records (if indeed that is where the marriage took place) at either Bedford record office, or by ordering the microfilm from your nearest LDS family history centre.
