I am not researching the Towle family but I have the 1841/1861 census plus a marriage of Bartholomew to Mary Oldershaw 31 October 1842 at Stapleford Nottm also Bartholomew death Dec qtr 1859 at Shardlow

Hi.
My cousin and I are doing our family tree in our grandmother was a Towle form Hucknall her name was Lilian Towle daughter of George Towle & Elizabeth Shaw.
If anyone has any information at all regarding this Towle family we would be very gratefull of your help.

Had to check first but you did contact me on Genes, none of our Towle seem to have links with Hucknall, and of all the names that we have I haven't a George, I will however pass it on to two others that I am working with, but as they are on the same 'line' as me I don't hold much hope, but stranger things have happened. Our Towles are all in the Stapleford Sandiacre and Trowell area although Bartholomew b c1852 did live at Brimington Nr Chesterfield at one time
