Looking for links to this name in the late 1600s / early 1700s in the LYTHE area, Nr Whitby.  Miles ALLAN (dd 1667) had a son, Richard, who married Elizabeth BRADRIG on 11 Feb 1668 at Lythe.  They had at least three children, Richard, Jane and Robert.
