I am trying to find where my relatives came from. I believe from family records that Barker Newman married Charlotte Rothery of Westbury and between 1785 - 1812 they had 15 children including Harry Barker, my own relative. I can find no records to date ( I'm pretty inexperienced ) until 1855 when two of Harry Barker's children emigrated to Australia.
Where did they come from before that. I know who they are but not from where.
Can any one help???

Hi Debra,
Found the following on the IGI.
Henry Barker NEWMAN
baptised 22nd May 1807 at Westbury, Wiltshire
His parents are Henry & Maria NEWMAN nee DOEL.

Sorry it has taken me so long to ge back to you, I have 6 children of my own, so time spent on my own pursuits, is limited.
