birth record for Kate Jordin

Hi,

I'm trying to track down a birth record for Kate Jordin.
She appears in the 1861 census, b about 151 in Hampshire, (no town/parish given).

I'm having trouble finding a birth record for her.
I can't, of course, be certain that the enumerator got her surname correct or that she wasn't registered as Catherine, for example. But I can't seem to find any trace on Ancestry of anyone that might match.

Can anyone out there help?

Re birth refs.

Ancestry would only have the mirror of Freebmd (an incomplete work).

You need the fiche, or bmdindex.co.uk or 1837online
