I was recently in contact with a guy researching this name but the branch from London. I did send him info on those in Salford but he said he would put them to one side till he had finished his branch and then see if they were connected.

The transcription list Mary A age 28 as Delahunty but the census page shows her listed below Patrick with the surname dittoed so it seems she is married to him.
I can't attach the image as the system tells me I have already used the filename and won't let it be posted  but if you would like it PM me and I will send it to you. I can't find Timothy who should be 32 anywhere in 1891 ?? he died as a youngster.
There is also this person in 1891 living at 94 Broughton Rd Salford. The transcription says Inna but the census page says Julia age 38 single working from home as a draper. No one else in the household

GRINDROD
Mary Ann [Polly] Grindrod was actually born in West Hartlepool circa 1862,
Her parents were married in BURY in 1852, they were Adam Grindrod [b. c 1832 Pilkinton] and Mary Ann [ms Haworth]. Adam Grindrod's parents were possibly William and Mary. I know there are many Grindrods in the Rochdale/Bury area and I have only recently found out my great grandmother's surname was Grindrod.

My great grandmother Ellen Delahunty was born circa 1868 in Manchester she married Frederick Neville in Salford in 1887.
I have one possible Ellen in the 81 census but she is in Surrey and b.c 1865 in Ireland.
One of these Delahuntys you have listed must be related somewhere. as they all lived in the Greengate/Salford/Manchester areas.
