Hi Stardoe

If you click on EDO's name on his/her post, it will take you to their personal profile page. From there, you will see an option to send a personal message.

When you receive a PM, you will get a message alert to let you know. You will also see at the very top of the page, r/h side 'you have x messages, x are new. If you click on this line, it will take you to the messaging section (like email - inbox/outbox)

Regards.

Hello there edo - i hope I'm at the right place. My grandmothers (Thelma Palmer) mother was Mary Mcdermid -daughter of Archibald and Rachel (nee Martin) Mcdermid. Archibalds' parents were Donald and Mary (nee Stewart) Mcdermid who came on the George Fyfe in 1840 - so I guess somehow we are related.   This is my daughters project for school but I fear I may become addicted.  At this point I would like to know if you have any information regarding the reason that the family moved to Australia. Also would you have any online photos of people or the George Fyfe?
thankyou so muchfrom Charmaine -
