Hi, Is anyone reseaching the Cowie family of Cumberland, Sometimes known as Cowen and Cowan, they went to Whitehaven around 1837. Benjamin Cowie was born in Scotland and his wife Ann was born Ireland,most of their children where born in Ireland and 1 son Robert born in Whitehaven 1837. Hartill
