Richard Hawkins (who married Catherine Burridge in Westminster in 1823)died in Henley on 9th January 1843. Does anyone have access to the burial records or cemetery records for Henley (probably Church of England)? I'm in Australia and the LDS church hasn't filmed parish records for that time. Could someone lookup the death or burial record and see if there are any more details such as age or birthplace? He appeared in the 1841 census at Henley as a butcher in Bell St, together with wife Catherine and daughter Georgina born 1832 and sons Michael and Richard born 1829 and 1825 respectively. Son John born 1827 (my 3X greatgrandfather) is not there. All the children were born in Medmenham or Marlow. Richard and John came to Australia in 1849. Catherine and Michael disappeared from view after 1841 tho' from family stories we know that Michael married and had children. Georgina married Thomas Barlow and lived thereafter at Hambleden, Bucks, and in Bexhill on Sea, Sussex. I have searched for a will or administration for Richard without success. Any new info on him would be great because we know almost nothing except whats here. thanks hellen
