I am collecting any information on HARRIS relating to BENJAMIN HARRIS
He married in Tingewick Buckingham
Benjamin was a soldier and was in the East Indies for many years.

It had taken me quite a long time to trace hs daughter BENEDICTA a gt gt grtandmother, until I eventually found her baptism in 1814 at Tingewick, from then I was able to trace her father Benjamin, as mentioned above.
He seems to have been an interesting character, and so far I have managed to obtain his army record, some parts of which I find difficult to decipher.

I would love to contact anyone else researching this name to find out if they have any information on "my" Benjamin I am still in the stage of just collecting snippets and making notes, so that hopefully eventually I can write up fuller information on the family for my family history "book" there are quite a number of descendants from Benjamin & Benedicta, so hopefully there may be someone else out there researching the family?
I have quite a bit of information on the COPELANDS some of the descendants through Benedicta.

Can anyone help? would love to share information
