Hi newbie!!
many thanks for your kind (and totally unexpected!!) offer.
If you could just check one baptism entry for me (as I got the information off the notorious IGI) I would be most grateful. Thomas DOE 22 Aug 1585 in East Lockinge. I have his parents as John and Joane. Newbie, Please don't put yourself out to do this for me at all. Only do it if you have plenty of time. Again, many thanks for the offer.

Hi Amy, I have done your look up for Thomas DOE August 1585 in East Lockinge, sorry I didn't get round to it last week - ran out of time. I have photocopies for you(just in case) can you let me have your address to send them to you? - just pm me. I would email a scan but my isp is still down! and have problems attaching stuff on the hotmail account. here is a scan of part of it - Newbie oops it said the file was too large! have to work on it.

A million thanks for this Newbie.
I'll post a 'squiggly writing' post in the Common Room about the date and see what everyone says.
Thanks again, you are a star!!
