Barbers in Moulton Northants

Looking for info on John Barber b about 1811--1816 in Moulton. He married a Mary Pack in 1843 at St Giles  Northampton.

I am not sure about this John although the age is about right.He married in 1843 a Mary Pack from Wollaston in St Giles Northants. I suppose he could have moved to Northampton between 1841 and 1843.I am interested in his parentage and I think his fathers name was Thomas

Hi there,

You need to appeal for someone with access to Moulton parish records to do a look up for you.
I sometimes get across to Northampton record office and if I do I will see what I can find.
Won't be very soon though......

Hello there

I did go to the record office this morning.
Found the actual baptism record but of course it told me no more than we already knew.OOps sorry  Embarrassed- forgot to check out parents marriage for mums maiden name.
To tell you the truth wasn't even sure it would be in Moulton.

Maybe someone has access to early 1800's parish records on a CD rom?

Hi Ringrose,

Thomas Barber otp batchelor and Elizabeth Hawkes otp spinster were married by license with the consent of guardians, 5 Nov 1810 at Moulton.

Both signed their names as did the witnesses Joseph Barber and William Bradshaw (?faint)

Not sure if any of this helps, I have a Worley Barber who married a Jane Jeyes in 1804. Worleys parents are Richard and Elizabeth. They had five children
Susannah 1777
Worley 1779
Thomas 1782
Joseph 1784
Jane 1775

Worley and Jane had two children(that I know of) Sarah 1809 and Lucy 1814

I also have a Sarah Barber married to John Whiting 25 Jun 1859 and a Alice Barber married to James Jeyes 12 Feb 1861. The witness on both occasions was Joseph.
