Sue,
Sarah E has sent you 1861 for Charlotte, right?
So here are the rest of the family: RG9/1080 Folio 40 p. 5 Writtle North Side of Oxney Green Cottages
Mary Moss, head, mar, 46, Farm Labourer's wife Henry, son, 18, Farm labourer George, son, 11 Frederick, son, 9 Harriett, dau, 4
Everybody dittoed born Writtle
Obviously, Thomas was not at home on census night.

IGI has Patron Submission:
Thomas Moss m. Mary Greenwood, 1830, Writtle
1861, next door to Mary Moss, is GARWOOD family.
Thomas is not to be found in 1861! (By me)
