Emma Ada Hawkins, Christchurch.

Can someone please help,I am trying to find out when and where Emma Ada Hawkins[nee Andrews] died. She was born in 1885,in Foxton NZ and married Walter Stace Hawkins,I believe that he may have died in Christchurch in 1963.Thanks.

My guess is, he is buried next to her. Cemetery search.

Hi Jericho,

I checked the RGO death indexes 1961-1965 inclusive for your Emma Ada HAWKINS, but had no luck. I did find;
HAWKINS Ada Margaret d. 1963 a.78 at Hastings.
HAWKINS Emily Elizabeth d. 1961 a.80 at Hawera.

Thanks for that,I am wondering if the Ada Margaret is the one I am looking for,although she has a different name, I know that some of the Andrews family is buried in Hastings, so why not another one.And if not, I'll just have to go on looking.Thanks.
