marriage cert ?

I located my late aunt death cert It gave her marriage name but I have been to the local churches I cannot find a marriage cert for her she was born and died in waterford in 1950 i would be grateful for any help .

When was she born and when would she have been married? She might have been born in Waterford and died there but perhaps got married somewhere else for a variety of reasons- maybe went out of the area (even for a short while) to work and got married there, moved to England (or somewhere out of Ireland) at some point, etc.

many thanks for your reply I do know that her sister went to england  she was married  there  but she died in the 1958 or there abouts is it possible to  search if so how would i go about it  not sure if my aunt was there also.
