I know it's late in the UK and i'm probably being very dense tonight but...

Is there a way I can update my home page on my website without my web counter resetting?

My webcounter doesn;t seem to reset no matter how often I update the site.  Mind you, my buttons keep disappearing!


Have you had a problem with the counter before?

I've only recently added the counter to my site but it reset when I updated after a couple of days of being there. I only use it to keep track of if people are visiting my site, so i guess it's not too much of a problem.

I haven't had trouble with the buttons yet but am a bit reluctant to play about too much in case I bu**er it up.

Hi Nadine

If the counter continues to reset it may be worth switching to another one - thee are lots available for free if you search the web.

There are also a lot of free statistical counters available that let you see a bit more detail of where your visitors have come from, how they found the site etc etc.

Your site's loking great, ad I particularly like the photo gallery.  Did you design this yourself, or is it part of a NetObject template?

I'm pleased with the site but you nevr know how others find it so it's good to get feedback.

The web counter problem seemed to be a one off blip. I might look at others as I get more confident with this web building stuff Grin Grin

The basic photo gallery was part of the Net Objects template, there were about 4 scenic pictures on a film strip background. I just changed the film strip and picture frames.
