1851 Census Lookup South Shields
« on: Saturday 03 September 05 04:29 BST (UK) »

Hi All!

I would appreciate a look up on John & Catherine Hanna family in South Shields possibly with Elizabeth Hanna.

I believe that all the members were born in Ireland.

I welcome any information you may have on them.

Thank you for your kind assistance.

Sincerely,

Tees

Hi Jan!

This is quite a surprise to me. I am starting to wonder where they were...I know that Ellen Hanna was from South Shields and she married to a Connor man.

Her marriage record at the church showed that her parents were from South Shields and so was she. Maybe they were in 1841 Census?

I was hoping to find her parents and siblings if there are any.

But I will keep your information on hand for the further verification on other records.

It would be my challenge...

Smiley

Another surprise is that it was only Hanna/h family in the area. Thought Hanna/h/y are very common.

Many thanks for your help in checking up on the Census for me. I truly appreciate it!

Kind regards,

Tees
