Hi

I am a complete novice to this.... I have recieved my webspace info yesterday. I managed to go into my File Manager and upload my family tree (in a gedcom format) but i'm really confused as what to do next.

I have read your information on how to start your own web page but seem to be more confused.....

Please can someone help me

Hi Jeanette,

A GEDCOM file is a way of transmitting genealogical info. in a common format, but it doesn't actually do anything.

Most family history programs have a facilitiy for exporting their data to web pages, or you can also get some programs to simply take a GEDCOM file, and convert that to web pages.
