Before people start hunting around for you, can you let ys know what you have already, so we dont duplicate.

HAve you got themarriage cert? (If so, what are fathers names and occupations, etc0

Have you got the couple on 1841,51,61,71,81 (free to search) ,91,1901 censuses?
If so which ones, where, and what children did they have.

Only picked up the name Ingram from Mary's Mothers Death Certifiate. Have been trying to find Mary Hawkes and who she married and where she ended up.
So i did a search on the freebdm last night and found this result of Thomas Ingram and MAry Hawkes.

This is the only couple I can see on 1841 in Staffordshire, who look like a newly wed Thomas and Mary Ingram

HO107 983 2

Holk Hill? Walsall

Thomas 20 bone breaker? I think bn in county, but not clear
MAry 20 bn in ireland, Scotland or foreign parts.

Cant find them in 1851 - when did Mary's mother die? we know she was still alive then (Mary, not her mother!)

Mary's mother was Sarah Hawkes, widow of Thomas Hawkes a Hinge Filer who died 21st February 1849.
The informant was Mary Ingram who was present at the death in Rushall Street, Walsall and signed with her mark.
There were 5 other children of Sarahs all being boys who I have accounted for so am trying to track down the last remaining child, Mary.
When I saw the informant was listed as and also present at the death as Mary Ingram I could only presume it was the missing one and only daughter. Hence the search and location of the posted marriage on the look up request.
The problem is with the listing there is Mary is listed as born Ireland, Scotland or Foreign Parts, whereas my Mary was born in Walsall.
I will try the free census records tonight.

Regarding Sarah death, I am still trying to find her burial, which i could only presume to be in the Walsall area.
