Is there a burial index for Kent ??
Seem to remember reading something about one, maybe it was an ongoing project...

Cas,
Thanks.
Found where I got my info form. The Folkestone FHS is apparently doing all the cemetries in Folkestone.

If it's Cheriton Road, Cemetery (1857 until Hawkinge opened late 1920s) then Shepway District Council (burials department) are usually pretty helpful as their indexes span quite a few years each

Thats the problem I am not sure which cemetery.
He was living in Cheriton when he died. (Somewhere around where Dormobile used to be or along that road anyway)
I am not sure if the Church by the Post Office in Cheriton has a cemetry, memory seems to say no.
I'll try SDC
Thanks Adrian

Hi Adrian
No, All Souls doesn't have graves. There is the churchyard at St Martins Church in Horn Street or else a civic burial at Cheriton Road opposite Safeways, Hawkinge or Spring Lane in Horn Street (opened 1902). I hope you have some success with SDC.
Best wishes
