Surely this is an easy brick wall to demolish. You have her GRO marriage reference so if you order the certificate you will get her father's name.
If she lived in Hunts it's not surprising that she doesn't appear in the 1841 census index for Cambs, which covers just the ancient county of Cambs, not the present one after it had absorbed Hunts. Hunts 1841 is not indexed, either online or offline.
St Ives registration district includes a load of villages as well as the town of St Ives, so she may have come from one of those. Her marriage cert would at least pin where where she was married, giving someone with the Hunts 1841 census, ie me, a chance of finding her!

Hi MJB, came across your posting of Piggott in St. Ives. I just learned that I have some Piggott's also in St. Ives and area. Brother to my ancestor, Lorenzo Pigott was living in St. Ives. Here is a census record for his family:
