Elizabeth gave birth to George on 27/12/1904 at Newcastleton Father unknown.
i know that she had other children Archibald and John both illegitimate and also a David whom she had when she married a Dick Bell from Langholm which i can't find a marriage registered for she died at Langholm on 04/03/1966.

If anyone can help with any info i would be really grateful .
I can't seem to connect my people with any other Scott's in the area, so am hoping someone recognizes someone.

Thank you so much for your kind offer if you could have a look for the following i would be most grateful.

Robert Scott b c1770 Betty Renwick B c1760

James Scott b24/03/1795 Galashiels

Michael b06/01/1799 Melrose

Robert b 30/04/1800 Melrose

George b06/02/1806 Galashiels

Robert b 1800 moved to London but don't know when
Michael was nr Hawick in 1851.
George and James I don't know anything about.

I appreciate this will be a mammoth task considering how many Scott's were in the area . Thats why i didn't want to ask for a look up.

Thankyou again Lesley

Lesley084,
I can't pin any of  them down on the census i'm afraid, i have had a look on the familysearch website and it looks like someone has submitted the same people that your looking for in their own familytree,  they could be related someway. There is an address of the person who submited the information if you would like it.
I would write to them and see if you get anywhere that way, it's a long shot but they may have addition information that could be useful.
