Are there any families called McGILPIN looking for relatives or do you have a stray one in your family tree.

Trying to find families in the above and surrounding areas from the 1800's onwards.(or before)

Any help......a grave.....a family member married in.....a black sheep.....anything please............ Grin

This is the only one listed on BIVRI

MCGILPIN, William   Christening
   Gender:   Male
   Birth Date:   21 May 1794
Christening Date:   27 May 1794   Recorded in:   Borrowstounness, West Lothian, Scotland
   Father:   MCGILPIN
   Mother:   Janet ATKIN
Source:   FHL Film 1066614   Dates:   1783 - 1820

There are however lots of GILPINS listed in Ireland but earliest is 1860s
