      and *Thank-You* so very much for your kind offer. :-) I greatly appreciate the time & effort it takes to do this.

Could you please look-up in the 1841 & 1861 census the following family (and in 1861 the son's?)

James ALLPORT bap 27 Dec 1798 St Mary's Lichfield bur. 1 Mar 1852 St Michael's Lichfield 

wife was Mary BIRD bap 23 May 1802 St Chad's Lichfield

sons
William ALLPORT bap 29 Jan 1821  St Michael's Lichfield 
John ALLPORT bap 15 Aug 1824 St Chad's Lichfield

I believe it may be possible that  John may have moved to Whittington near Lichfield?

is a possibility as Stowe is 1mile from Lichfield.
