Hello
has anyone come accross a Mary Gordon that was married in 1845 to a Lorenzo Eid in Belfast?Lorenzo died in 1857 and i can't find out what became of Mary probably remarried ??so if you have a Mary Gordon who's father was recorded as a David gordon a farmer in your tree please get in contact or any suggestions as to where i might look for a record of her thankyou regards aeroqueen

Anna Eid 39 Cromac St

Thats the only name for Eid in 1852 hope these are of some help to you.

Hi Aeroqueen,

I may as well answer here as anywhere. I am going round in circles trying to make sense of your brick wall. Was is a round tower or a lighthouse by any chance? Part of my problem in trying to see what is happening with your Eids is the usual problem - questions all over the place. Do not worry about my grumbles QAOTP is par for the course. I tried a " search rootschat " for Eid and it offered a great many families called Reid. Whatever this brick wall is lets knock it down.

Please enlighten me - was Anna Eid a daughter of Lorenzo and Mary (nee Gordon).

Now -
1. When was Mary born?
2. When was Fostin Eid born? Is he Anna's brother
3. Where were Mary and Loronzo living at time of his death?
4. Might Mary have remarried?
5. Might Mary have changed her name?
