I've had a look at Yorkshire parishes on Genuki - the only one that remotely fits is Husthwaite in the North Riding.
Perhaps if you posted a bit more of the page we could see how some of the letters are formed elsewhere.

Second one certainly looks like Slaithwaite (in West Yorkshire) to me, though I can't really see it in the original posting. If you are confident that they are the same place perhaps the enumerator on the earlier one wasn't sure either!

I would guess that it's Huthwaite.
You do not say what other information is
on the census.i.e address, occupation etc.
Huthwaite Hall,Huthwaite Common,Huthwaite
Wood & Huthwaite House Lie between
Thurgoland & Stocksbridge in South Yorkshire.
The village of Wortley is also near.If any of these
appear on your census form then we are getting
near.Let me know & if not I'll have a deeper search.

the more I look at Huthwaite, the less likely

Many thanks for the suggestions
The problem I have is I can find this family in Manchester on the 1861 census all born in Manchester.
1871 Census I cannot find them at all.
1881 found them in Trowbridge, with one of them being born in Yorkshire at the name place.
So unless I can locate them in Yorkshire in 1871 I cannot get a road/street.
The 2 sample pictures were taken from the 1881/91 census scans

And the above family being them here they are in the 1871 mistranscribed ( I had a closer look) it does show HILTON and Slaithwaite is a lot more clearer.

It sure is the family I am looking for in 1871 how did you find it with Husthwaite?
or was it best guess by a transcriber, the area they are from is Prestwich Manchester - and I think Prestwick is in Scotland
