How do I find out who on RootsChat is researching the same name

Is there a way on this site of finding out who (among your members) are researching the same Surnames as I am ... such as Little in Cumberland County or Little in Dumfriesshire or Campbell in Argyllshire?

A very warm welcome to RootsChat - we hope you find it useful, and enjoyable too.

We do have a one name studies board on RootsChat (it's right at the bottom) so it might be worth having a look down there for a start - a tip: you can order the subjects alphabetically by clicking the word "Subject" in the forum.

Another idea is to use the Search button above. If once you have clicked the search button, click on "Advanced search". There it will show all the boards it is searching - at the bottom is  a small box called "Check all" - if you click that, then all the boxes above become blank. Then click on Dumfrieshire and Argyllshire, (and a few other boards if you like - like the one name studies boards) enter "little" in the "search for box" and hit the search button. (it's a lot easier than the way I describe - I seem to have a nack in complicating things).

If you don't find anything, then please feel free to put the details you are looking for in those boards, so hopefully somebody else will find them next time.

Judi,

You sent a message saying that you could not search pages 2-17 of your results.

I have tried it, and can view the other pages without any problem. If anybody else is having problems viewing search results then I would be interested to know what Browser is being used (and version), and on what operating system.

I know that advert blockers can mess up the display of may web pages, including RootsChat.
