Dawson family of Hinckley

Can anyone out there help with information about a Dwason family who lived in Hinckley Leicestershire? My 2x great grandfather William Dawson was born in Hinckley approx. 1819-1825 (sources info varies).
A cooper by trade, he moved to Northwich in Cheshire and married Alice Wilson.
If anyone could find him aged about 20 on the 1841 census or a family of Dawsons who were coopers I would be indebted to them.

Greeting’s Jean,

WILLIAM DAWSON.
Christened 10th. Feb. 1819.
At Burbage (which is near to Hinckley)
Father :- Jeremiah Dawson.
Mother :- Ann.

But found a burial :-
WILLIAM DAWSON.
17th. Sept.1822.
At Burbage.
Aged 1 ˝ yrs. at Hinckley.

But there’s another
WILLIAM DAWSON.
Christened. 25th. March. 1824.
At Burbage.
No Father’s name given.
Mother :- Mary Dawson.

Maybe this is where the differences in the years
Come from 1819 –1825. Which you quoted.
Also wonder if that Marry was Ann but used her middle name ?

Then looked on the Scanned images 1841.Census returns for Burbage.
Found the following:-

JEREMIAH DAWSON. 50. Cooper.
Ann. Wife. 40.
Jeremiah. Son. 20.
Henry. Son. 15.
Hannah. Dau. 8.
Jonathan. Son.7.
Edward.  Son. 2.
All born in the County of
Leicestershire.

But no William maybe has already gone to Cheshire ?

Wow! many thanks for your help, I really don't know what to say. I don't have any of this information and I am absolutely delighted. This is my first day on Rootschat and all this information so soon i :Ds quite overwhelming.

Just finished trawling through Hinckley 1841.
But no sign of William. . .
But all is not lost found the following info:-

MARRIAGE.

JEREMIAH DAWSON.
ANN CHANDLER.
25th. Dec. 1816.
At Frolesworth (next village to Burbage)
Brides Father :- William Chandler.
Grooms Father:- Jeremiah Dawson.

JEREMIAH DAWSON. (the one on the Census)
Baptised 30th. Dec. 1791.
Father :- Jeremiah.
Mother:- Susan.

Just a bit more for you.

Just looked on the 1881 Census. . .
and found William & Alice.with their big Family.
In Cheshire.

So it looks like that from the age of William
I think it could well be the other William I gave you
the one who's Mother was a Mary Dawson 1824.
if so there's that marriage :-

JEREMIAH DAWSON.
MARY WOODHOUSE.
18th. Sept. 1813.
at Burbage.
sorry no details of parents.

I've rechecked the 1841. Census for Burbage

And have found :-

Mary Dawson 35.
Elizabeth Dawson.8.
lodging with a
Walter Dawson 55.
Elizabeth Dawson. 50.

Still no sign of William or Jeremiah.

Until yesterday I had no idea that I could look at Burbage for Hinckley as I didn't realise they were so near to each other.
