Hi ...

There are two Timothy BRICKNELLs listed on the OFHS's Marriage Index (1538-1837):

19 FEB 1794 - Timothy BRICKNELL to Ann LADNER at Chipping Norton
05 OCT 1822 - Timothy BRICKNELL (Gt Barrington) to Sarah TAYLOR at Burford

I would think that the latter is the more likely one, and this could be confirmed by finding Elizabeth on the 1841/51 censuses.

Hi

From 1851 census - Oxford - St Ebbes Street Fo 199
BRICKNELL
Timothy aged 69 Slator & Plasteroer born Chipping Norton
Sarah aged 59 Washing born Oxford
Elizabeth aged 22 Washing born Oxford
Henry aged 17 Errand Boy born Oxford
Robert aged 15 Errand boy born Oxford
John aged 12 Errand Boy born Oxford
Thomas aged 8 Scholar born Oxford

So it looks like Pennie is right with the marriage from Burford
- though the earlier one may well be connected
