Hi Jacques
On the IGI on the FamilySearch site there this  baptism:

Henry Ward 19th Sep 1813 at Beighton parents Samuel Ward and Catherine

It is an extracted record so should be accurate.

Here is the link in case you don't know it

http://www.familysearch.org/Eng/Search/frameset_search.asp?PAGE=igi/search_IGI.asp&clear_form=true

Also

http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~hughwallis/

Lets you search the IGI by parish

This looks like his parents in 1841

Birley, Beighton
Samuel Ward 60 Coal Miner
Catherine do 60
Both born in county

This looks like Henry in 1841. And maybe Ann's mother Huh Eckington is only 3 miles from Beighton.

Many many thanks for your quick response. YES YES it seems perfect. I have been trying for ages to find him.  I think his Mothers maiden name was Swinnerton now will have to try and trace her now. I do appreciate your help as I am a novice really only heard of Rootschat a couple of weeks ago. It is certainly helping me. Best Wishes Pam
