Hi Ozy Bob,
Where you look depends on where they came to - if NSW then try http://www.records.nsw.gov.au/archives/archives%5Fin%5Fbrief%5F1%5F365.asp
I don't know about other states but someone will know and can tell you!

Hi Bob,
I would check the State Archives in NSW first off, and see if they can help you.  AFter that you could check with the Public Record Office in Victoria, and the State ARchives in Queensland.
Do you think they would have come to the eastern states?  Do you have any birth/marriage/death information after they arrived in Australia?

The best online ref for this time is the unassisted immigrants to Victoria (which often has folks who went to other eastern ports - Sydney/Brisbane)
For your time period there are many Taylors with the given names - so I'll let you check them.

My Irish immigrants (somewhat earlier) all came through Liverpool - not sure if that would help you find them  Smiley  Smiley

Looking for a marriage for May could help determine where they settled(although there may be many Mays).  NSW and Vic are online.
