Lookup 1851,61,71 for Bibey

Would like to make some progress tracing a Bibey family from the Walford area.  Quite a rare name but there are other Bibey families in this area,  we think that all are related.  We have :-

Richard Bibey b. 1826 Walford
Caroline Bibey (nee Edwards and Watkins m.twice) b. ~1820
Alfred Bibey b. 1850 Walford
Richard Bibey b. 1854 Walford
Oliver James Bibey b. 1861 Walford

Want to find more children and also Caroline's birth place.

Notes.
1881 census gives Richard living on his own widowed in 1876
Richard m. Caroline in 1849 so should be together in 1851.
We assume Richard junior is a son,  father recorded as Richard at his wedding in 1877.

Also looking out for Joseph Bibey,  recorded as Richard's father at his wedding.

Many thanks for this first lookup,  has given more children and birth place for Caroline,  not too far from Walford.

There are a couple of Beebee families from Bredwardine listed too, any relation??

They may be distant cousins.   We do have a seriously dedicated Bibey researcher that we keep in contact with,  he think's that he can trace back most of the spellings to perhaps a very small number of families,  mostly from the forest of dean,  some families are up in north england which may well also trace back to the forest, but as far as i know Beebee is not one of them.   I will pass this info on to him.
As you trace back, Bibey (various spellings) seem to disappear at a certain date,  before this date there are Bybeth's so one of the latest theories is that these two lines are infact the same line but no data to prove this and probably none exists,  it's too far back at the time when Church records began.
