The APPLEBYS

Can any one help, my father was samuel appleby who before i was born 1945 lived in dartmouth st birmingham,his father also samuel lived there aswell .In the 1891 census it states Samuel Appleby 4 ct hse Adams st,head,age 29, wife Harriet , children  Florence,7,  Samuel 6, Isac 5, John 3 months .Therfor Samuel who was 29 was my great great grand father  and was born about 1862 can any one help with his birth and marriage information         Baza

on FreeBDM there is only the information that I have given you to get more you usually have to buy the certificates, but you could ask for some one to do a 1871 census look-up for Samuel and his Parents and there may be other siblings

Hi Rita i have seen the Willenhall parish church records for 18th and early 19th cent births and deaths but could not tell from this who johns parents were,is there a cencus for 1841 willenhall,and a marrige of john and harriet 1830- 1840 .The strange thing about this is the Applebys in Willenhall were nearly all lock makers and there were a lot , my trade is an antique furniture restorer part of which i restore georgian and victorian locks,also i noticed that john and harriets first child joseph was born in wednesbury before there move to aston ? hope yo can help.     BAZA
