Could any one please give me any information on John William Witte he was living in the dock area of Sunderland ,he had moved there from Scotland and originally came from Germany,this was around 1900     baza

In the 1901 Census, there is a Willhelm Witte aboard SS Reiher in the  Humber dock at Hull. He is recorded as A.B., single, 21, born Germany.
