A big problem with the net is that we can't come round and have a beer with you or say c'mon wot's up, but you know as well as we do that there is no winner if you pack your bags and go. Wherever you are stick with us because I'm sure you can teach us and can also learn from us, so if you're reading this, we dont want anyone to leave. Denn

Hi Meldrew I've never taken an active part in the photo restoration board but often look at the work the members do and often see your postings on the odd board, please, please don't leave us, one notices that some rootschatters are more active than most and you seem like one of the more active, what will people do without you, and why should one crusty, miserable and ungrateful 'moron' spoil it for you. If I were you I'd stick around just like a thorn in the side. Come on everyone lets look after our own, make him stay...................... PLEASE DON'T GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WE'D MISS YOU SO! Anne

Hi Meldrew
Thank goodness you have changed your mind. Another sign of a great person. I must correct you on one point, your postings are not meagre, you are a valued member of the forum. OK you may not be an expert yet but neither are alot of the rest of us.
Everyone has their part to play so get back to the restorations and enjoy Rootschat again. I for one enjoy seeing what you do.
Well done with the talk I bet you brightened up alot of peoples day.
Jane
