1881 census/IGI has given me a John Boyland born 1846
Stockland Devon,Fater shown as Joseph,no other parent.
Can anyone throw any light on this family?Who might the Mother be,and more on his Father?

Found the following Marriage entry for Joseph Boyland
June Qtr 1840
Joseph Boyland

4 female enteries

Ann Fry

Sarah Harris
Ann Newberry

the best way to possibly find out who John mother was, is to ask for a census look-up for 1841 as Joseph was married by then.Good luck,sorry I couldn't be of my help.

Unfortunately this is the only Possibility I can find in 1841. 31 Boylands in Stockland. No other lively appears in Dorset (Where Stockland was in 1841) or Devon
