As a not native English speaker, what does annuiant mean and cordwainer? Sorry for bothering, but my dictionary is even not given me a slight idea!
Cheers,
Justin

Hi Alli,
Excellent information. The main thing for me with the Joseph Baker story is that he was a important collector of both eggs and birds in the Netherlands in the middle of 1800. What i try to write down is a part of information about his personal life, including parents (now found), brothers + sisters (now found), job father (now found = watch maker), school (not found yet), and wife (found) and childeren, and exact date and place of death of both parents and wife (not found yet). All this information will be integrated in a book about the collectors of birds and eggs in The Netherlands 1500 - 2000 (will be finished in 5 years from now I hope). It is a non-commercial project by the way.
Thanks and if you find any additional information it would be welcome.
All the best,
Justin
