I can see him on 1901 but he isn't showing up anywhere else with those details.There is also a John H Barnes born 1865 Sharrington Norfolk on 1871.
Bit of a drag if they change birthplaces

Hi Tricia by 1901 he was in Bishopwearmouth co durham and according to that he was born c 1865 gt Yarmouth norfolk any sign of him in 1891 durham or yarmouth area cheers Aitnax

I can see him on 1901 but no John Barnes b c 1865 at Yarmouth appears in 61-91. Can you give us something more to work on - eg his father's name perhaps?

Hi Irene John Barnes born c, 1865 Great Yarmouth Norfolk Father was John Barnes a waterman he was dead by 1896 when his son married Minnie Elizabeth Fisk in stockton On Tees Durham John Barnes Senior was described as a Fireman in 1896 Cheers Aitnax

I don't think that was the right one in 1891 since I found him at that address in 1881 as John Jas Barnes and his father is Charles. Sorry.
As someone mentioned earlier there is a John H Barnes born about 1865 in Sharrington, son of John and Honor Barnes, but the father is Ag Lab
