It looks as if the new Highland Archive might be opening on 26th October 2009

There are lunchtime and evening tours on 22nd, 23rd and 24th October 2009

The Archive opened last week.   There was some vandalism to the building the previous week but the opening went ahead as planned.

Records head back to the Highlands as centre opens

The Highland Council Genealogy Service

I have not found their catalogue online yet.
