Any chance of making this image clearer please?
« on: Sunday 11 September 05 10:56 BST (UK) »

Wonder if it is possible to make this picture of my Grandmother Amelia clearer please?
I removed her image from a picture taken with her foster family in Row Town Surrey c1900.  Gran had very dark hair and eyes.

Thanks for any help.
Reyz

Hi Reyz,
I'd love to have a go as I think it can be improved, even if only a little, but is it at all possible to give us a higher-resolution scan?  This one is less than 5k, which is very little to go on.  The more ks, the easier it will be.

No probs Reyz.  I have had some success with tiny pictures of my own in the past, and they looked much worse than yours!  The trick is definitely to start with a nice high-resolution scan.
Looking forward to the new pic!

Hi again Prue

After talking to husband, don't think you will be able to help.
My picture was a copy of the original.  I scanned my copy and sent it to the Home Gran was in.
So the attached is from the scan..  enclose a darker version but suspect no use.  Hope that makes sense.

Not too worry, at least I have a picture Smiley !
Thanks a lot, anyway
