Esther Bowler was born around 1857 in Chesham and married John Ley in 1898 in Hampstead.

I am seeking any information about Esther and would appreciate any assistance with this.  Thank you

I don't have the marriage cert unfortunately.  The info came from the 1901 census and is as follows:

John J. Ley - Head - Married - Aged 43 - Male - House Decorator - Worker - Born Devon Barnstaple.
Esther Ley - Wife - Married - Aged 43 - Female - No occupation listed - Employment Status Undefined - Born Bucks Chesham.

Although not unusual, 43 is pretty late for her first marriage         Shocked

It is quite possible that Esther was married previously - I really know very little about her unfortunately.

It may be her in the 1891 census, although the age doesn't quite tie up with the details from the 1901 census.
