FORDHAM Caxton - parish records

Could SKS who has access to the parish records for Caxton look up a possible birth/baptism for John FORDHAM around 1804. He was listed aged 47 in the 1851 census born Caxton (I hope), Cambridgeshire, although by then he was well away from home. I have checked Carlton (just in case) and cannot find a suitable baptism there.

Caxton parish register for the period 1801-1837 has been transcribed by Cambs FHS and is indexed on their web site

Unfortunately there's no John Fordham in Caxton, although there is a John Fordham in Carlton in 1802, which whilst a year out is still pretty close. How ambiguous is the 1851 birthplace, or is it definitely Caxton?
