Looking for means and date of arrival of Dennis Browne Cochrane to Northland pre 1840 from county Mayo via Nova Scotia I think.

Hi blimp,

I was just looking for another early post on the Emigrants to NZ Board and found your unanswered post.

You may already have an answer to your question, and while I can't help with that I can tell you that a Dennis Browne COCHRANE was married at Horeke (in Northland, all the way up the Hokianga) on 5 March 1837, and that there is a Probate for a Dennis Brown COCHRANE who died at Hokianga on 29 August 1877, F/o (father of?) John. He died intestate and the file is held by Archives NZ Auckland office.
