Can anyone see Eleanor Bingley age about 75 living in Handbridge in 1861?

Hi

You haven't provided any details re: her birthplace but the 1861 shows an Ellen Bingley widow aged 77 b Rossett Denbighshire living in Handbridge with son Edward aged 32 b Cheshire.  Also in household was Ellen's brother William Jonas/Jones aged 79 widower also b Rossett

In spite of lack of details you have found the record I need, thank you. Can you see their immediate neighbours for me?
For the record Eleanor Jonas married James Bingley in 1811.

There is only one other family on the page - Joseph & Eliza Roberts.  If you have a particular family in mind, I will look at the couple of pages before and after the Bingley entry if you will post details

The Gerrard families lived in Handbrige in a number of a houses all next door, or close to one another.  John Gerrard married Mary Bingley in 1835 and were living in Handbridge in 1861 ref HO 107-129-22 F.7 P.8 Handbridge Chester.

I am just interested in how close to Eleanor they lived.

Both are in Chester St Mary on the Hill in 1861

Ellen Bingley ref is in district 14
RG9 2627 fol 79 p.35

John Gerrard is district 16
fol 113 p31.
I dont know Chester that well but they are obviously fairly close but without a map it would be hard to judge.

Hi

They each have the same piece number but different folio numbers.  Ellen Bingley is the last entry on the last page in her folio (page 35) so I went back to page 30 but no other Gerrards
